On 11 October, AIOTI held a virtual General Assembly, where the amendments of the AIOTI Articles of Association (AoA) were approved.
The most important change is that AIOTI changed its name to the Alliance for IoT and Edge Computing Innovation, adding more prominence to edge computing.
References to edge computing were added in the text of the AoA as well as some changes in governance and operational running of the organisation.
The goal of this report is to capture the landscape of IoT activities and IoT documents/specifications published and/or under publication by SDOs, Alliances and OSS Initiatives.
The report was produced by the Technical Working Group TWG-IIoT & EDGE established under the remit of the EU-funded StandICT.eu 2023 project. The TWG operates in full autonomy and transparency.
The editor of the report is AIOTI WG Standardisation Chair Georgios Karagiannis and contributors among AIOTI members are: Voutyras, Orfeas; Kung, Antonio; Frost, Lindsay; Gyrard, Amelié; Rennoch, Axel; Carugi, Marco; Lingbo, Kong.
At the end of this month, AIOTI has 195 members.
