ENACT Mid-Term Symposium
The ENACT project will host its Mid-Term Symposium on 28 September 2026 in Florence (Italy), as part of the international AIOTI Days 2026 conference. This co-location places ENACT within one of Europe’s key gatherings on IoT, digital health, and data-driven innovation, offering a unique opportunity to present and discuss cutting-edge research at the intersection of environment, AI, and health.
The symposium will bring together researchers, students, and stakeholders interested in how environmental exposures across the lifespan can be translated into actionable health insights through advanced modelling and sensing technologies.
Participation to the ENACT symposium is free of charge.
Focus on AI, wearables, and environmental sensing
At this mid-point in the project, ENACT will showcase progress in two core scientific and technological areas:
- AI-driven exposomic modelling and health risk prediction
- Wearable and sensing technologies for real-world environmental exposure monitoring
These developments of the project combine environmental data, clinical information, and machine learning approaches to better understand how complex exposure mixtures influence health outcomes.
Demonstrations and technical presentations will illustrate how these methods are being applied across ENACT’s European pilot studies, spanning cardiovascular, respiratory, dermatological, and paediatric health domains.
Part of a broader ENACT journey
The Mid-Term Symposium is designed as a key milestone in ENACT’s dissemination and scientific engagement strategy. It complements upcoming project events:
- a Technology Transfer Day (2027) focused on innovation and exploitation pathways, and
- a Final Project Event (2028) presenting consolidated results and policy implications.
Together, these events reflect the progressive translation of ENACT’s research from methodological development to practical application and policy relevance.
