AIOTI GA 2022 Highlights

Besides the success of AIOTI-led sessions organised during the IoTWeek2022, we met for the first in-person General Assembly since 2019. A great opportunity to have an open discussion, reflect on the status of our organisation and think about the vision until 2024.

AIOTI Treasurer, Wael El Rifai, presented all the formal decisions and voting results. The annual accounts for 2021 were adopted, with solid financial results, as well as the budget for 2023 and 2024, showing that the organisation is reaching its stability and maturity.

AIOTI Management Board Chairman Juergen Sturm, presented the annual report of the AIOTI Management Board followed by the annual overview of the AIOTI Steering Board activities by Alessandro Liani, Steering Board representative.

Solid membership growth, rich content, rich activities, deliverables, and presentations were shared not only as an overview of what was done but as a solid basis for growth and as an invitation for all community members to engage even more.
