Webinar: AI for better health, 14 March

AIOTI organised on 14.03. workshop to present AIOTI WG Health paper AI for better health. The full document can be found here. Over 100 participants listened to AIOTI experts and shared the discussion. The webinar presentation can be found here and the recording here.

6G IA General Assembly

6G IA held its General Assembly on 23.03. in Brussels. AIOTI representative Damir Filipovic was re-elected in the Governing Board among the full association members.

During this month, AIOTI representatives participated and speak at the following events:

1st Roundtable of ICT Empowers Green Development, Barcelona, 1 March

Damir Filipovic, AIOTI Secretary General presented at the roundtable the key findings of the AIOTI report IoT and Edge Computing Carbon Footprint Measurement Methodology.

DATES Workshop Artificial Intelligence for Public & Tourism Sectors, Faro, Portugal, 8 March

Several AIOTI members were presenting at this workshop related to the EU funded project on the European Data Spaces in Tourism.

UNLOCK-CEI Fifth Value Chain Adopters Webinar: Cloud-Edge-IoT in Energy Sector 23 March

On 23 March 2023, the EUCloudEdgeIoT initiative hosted the fifth and final event of the first wave of Value Chain Adopter workshops , organised by the project UNLOCK-CEI and analysing the landscape of Cloud-Edge-IoT (CEI) applications in the energy industry. The workshop was structured in two parts, the first being focused on presentation about trends and initiatives in the energy value network, including mentioning of use cases in this sector, such as smart grid management, pipeline management, pipeline and facility observation, smart meters, drone-based network

The workshop hosted a presentation from Natalie Samovic, Chair of WG Energy AIOTI and then focused on collecting insights about challenges and requirements for the development of CEI use cases in this sector. Regulatory aspects and standardisation needs emerged as particularly compelling challenges.
