AIOTI WG Standardisation, Task Force High Level Architecture has released its new on Report on Cloud Edge IoT assets and patterns.
The report provides the context of EU research projects related to CEI and provides a rationale on the need to manage CEI assets, by analysing CEI ecosystems using the hourglass model.
It then characterises CEI assets as information technology assets and provides a rationale on the need to create a standard on CEI asset management framework. It lists standards that should be used related to assets, asset assurance, governance, as well as on domain standard on assets such as building information models (BIM).
